What is law of attraction
Simply put law of attraction is a theory that thoughts influence chance!
This means that you can achieve any result by altering your thought. This could even be the result where you have no direct involvement. So obviously we can achieve weight loss by altering our thoughts. I am taking about some voodoo or black magic here. I am talking raw science. It is possible to increase your body’s performance by focusing your thoughts on the goal. It is done in the following steps.
Visualize your goals
By visualize your goals I mean think about how slim you want to get. It could be to get in to your favorite blouse again or buy a new dress you liked. So try to visualize yourself in that dress. When you do this constantly enough your mind will imprint it and then you will find that you are much motivated to lose weight.
Visualizing your goals also help you plan. Make a list of your goals and visualize them in order. Weigh the pros and cons and you will find it much easier to arrive at decisions.
Try to think about how you will feel once you lose weight. Will you be more energetic, outgoing, chirpy and generally full of good humor. Imagine how your friends and family will react to your weight loss. Obviously they will be happy about it. This way by visualization of goals you can train your mind to look at the positives and thus enhance your march towards your goals.
Plan your goals
Simply visualizing your goals is not going to take you there. You will your self have to walk toward your goals and this will require a path or plan. So sit down and make a plan for yourself. You don’t have to punish your family life or leisure at the altar of weight loss so your plan should be doable. Think of a time in the day for exercise and stick to it. It could be in the mornings or in the evenings after you finish work. If you can join a gym, it will be good, as it will provide access to trainers and dieticians. Make a routine out of your workout. This is the only way to ensure that you do not lag.
It is also a good idea to maintain a log book of your exercises. This will help you take stock of your performance at a later date and will provide a ready reference for further planning.
You should also plan your diet. While buying your groceries sit down and eliminate any processed food from your list. Also make a list of all good foods and create a recipe bank so that you will have variety to choose from. Also make a list of activities involved with cooking which will make the whole process fun and sustainable.
And finally reward yourself!
Rewarding yourself is the best way to motivate you. Set yourself a goal and once you reach your goal then you may reward yourself. Like let’s say you have wanted the latest shoes for long. Aim to lose 2 pounds a week and once you have achieved this buy yourself the new shoe. This will motivate you to further excel.
